A Writer's Perspective...and a Publisher's Thoughts

An event for tomorrow evening in Broadstairs. Please support a local author and their fundraising effort for Children In Need.

Local author Matthew Munson, and his Midlands-based publisher Inspired Quill will be taking questions from eager readers and writers at a public event, the profits of which will be going to charity.
“A Writer’s Thoughts and a Publisher’s Perspective” will be held at The Community Hall, Pierremont Park, Broadstairs, Kent, CT10 1JX on Saturday 19th May, from 6pm to 8pm.

Attendees will hear Broadstairs-based Matthew Munson speak about his experiences as a writer and Sara Slack will offer her views on the publishing industry, including advice for first time writers and those who might want to break into the industry. She will also offer a free query-letter advice segment for any prospective authors in the audience.

The entrance fee will be £3 (£2 for concessions), and copies of Fall From Grace will be on sale! (As will some very special, limited edition Inspired Quill posters…). Matthew will be happy to sign any copies bought on the night!
Inspired Quill, publishers of Fall From Grace, have been short-listed for a competition with the BBC (in league with Children in Need). Part of their task is to show just what they can do with a budget of just £100. Any profit made from this event will be donated to Children in Need, and the evening will support Inspired Quill’s bid to get through to the next round of the BBC’s Entrepreneurial-focused competition, as well as backing Matthew’s debut novel!
